25 years ago today I was walking to school and there was a huge bang and the ground shook under my feet.

11 marines died as a result of that bomb from the Royal Marines school of music in deal Kent.

It was terrifying. The marines return to deal tonight to play for remembrance. Sadly I cannot attend but I'll never forget that morning.

It was. We had no idea what was going on. I was only 10 and a bomb never crossed my mind at that age. I was only a 5 minute walk away!

I was living in sandwich at the time, aged 17. One of my classmates at Thanet tech lost his brother that day. Awful, another friend like u felt it, she lived in walmer at the time.
