Anyone got any idea what a vet charges roughly to put a cat to sleep?
We have had our RSPCA cat for 11 years and all the signs are looking that we are going to have to make that very difficult decision in the next 24 hrs.  |

it will vary I guess from Vet to vet and area's etc..
some of the animal charities may be worth a look if cost is an issue..
wish you well at this time, been there and whilst its not an easy decision it will be in your heart the right one for your pet.. |

If ou ring the rspca they will help and guide you no matter what your financial situation is. We have a local animal charity who only charge cost with no vet fee added. |

It cost us around £104 but that was euthanize & individual cremation so we could have him back in a little box. I think around £70-£80 for euthanize and cremation (but not getting them back). I feel for you, it's a very diffucult position to be in when you think it's time but really don't want to lose them. |

Will ring the vet in the morning and see what they say. Did also ring my local rspca and they confirmed what I already think and he should not suffer. But what gets me the hardest is he seems to go downhill then perks up. He is a fighter for sure.
