I was meant to of gone out tonight and I was let down by that person due to rugby...  .....I've always lived by the saying "promises are comfort to a fool" don't you just hate when people let you down....  |

I hate it when you arrange a date to meet someone and they can't do it nearer the time because or this or that blah blah. If I agree a date to be free, unless an emergency, I won't book or do anything else. |

I was devastated for about 3 seconds and then carried on having a laugh with the other people I was with

I hate being let down
I don't get a night 'off' very often and one of my friends is awful for letting me down on the day. Not easy to arrange something else at last minute when I have so few friends (around here) |

How does that happen?
Did he get injured or something?
I was supposed to go to town last weekend and had loose plans to perhaps bump into a fabster who was also out but I dislocated two of my fingers at Rugby in the afternoon and didn't really feel like driving after that.... |

No it's not nice to being let down! maybe why I give certain people in my life a wide berth. More and more so the older I get.
Sorry to hear the bad news CC you can open the bar in here and get it rolling (I might even drink tonight  )
