Worked 57 hours straight through for a deadline- we had to call in a backup for the last few hours as both myself and the guy I was working with started hallucinating and we couldn't use the computer any more as the screen kept trying to stab us |

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound |
I went just short of 60 hours before I gave in and got an emergency Zopiclone from the doctor.
I did 35 hours this week and then I was so overtired I found it difficult to sleep. I was so exhausted this morning that I had pulled out of the things I had planned for today and had lunch with a friend instead and nothing but television and Fab this evening.
I'll use my brain tomorrow.

96 hours when I had my daughter. Then had 4 hours sleep before feeding her myself every 1 1/2 to 2 hours for 12 weeks... I was very unwell to say the least! |

Apart from when I'm poorly, me too...even on the night before I had my hip replaced I slept reasonably well...I only struggle to kip when I've got someone in bed with me |

I wasn't in labour the whole time - or not in pain at least. My waters broke the day before but it was only leaking so I didn't know what it was. Thought I was having some incontinence. Didn't sleep that night. Next day went to the doctor's who sent me to hospital. They kept me in and labour started that night. Gave birth the following morning and didn't sleep that day and the next night I think. I just recall my partner at the time saying how long I'd gone without sleep. Some 30 years later it's pretty much a blur. |

3.5 days, night shift as student nurse, classes next day, party that night that ended up lasting 2 days n nights resulting in several strangers in the residence plus a memorial bench and a few extra fire extinguishers
Daughters labour was nothing in comparison, 27 hrs in full labour before eventually an emergency section so only about 30 hours.
But what really killed me is she never slept through till the jan after she started school and even from then till last year was always awake between 530/6am n expecting me awake too!!
Now a teen impossible to wake her |
