Really need help.. it's took me 2 days to change my front brake pads lol now when I'm driving the car it's making a very loud knocking sound lol..

On a more serious note could it be the brake disk slipping because it's loose?

If the wheels are on tight the brake disc can't go anywhere as it is squashed between the wheel and hub also the wheel bolts go through them.

what car could be you have damaged or disturbed your cv joint when you were working on the brakes also chack your wheel nuts are on tight and even

You should'nt mess about with brakes if you don't know what you are doing. Get a qualified mechanic to look at it.

2 days?!?!?! To change brake pads???

Did you rebuild the car around a new set?

Check everything has been tightened correctly, could be loose wheel nuts loose.

Have you put the retaining pins in to hold the pads in the calipers?

If you haven't had the discs off, they shouldn't be loose.

If you've had the calipers off, have you tightened the bolts properly?

Have you tightened the wheel nuts

properly?

Plus have you tightened the wheel nuts up in order?

I mean you not tightened 1 nut up fully then done the rest after?

Well I didn't realise about the bolts.. I had four in each when but one bolt snapped off.. could it just be that? Pissed off
