I've bought the most gorgeous pair of shoes from t'internet.
They fit (kind of) but could just do with a little stretching. Is wet newspaper the answer?
Or wear them to break them in and grin and bear it?
Left it to late to send them back..... |

I wouldn't use wet newspaper, if they are leather they may get ruined or dye run from the paper.
You can get shoe stretchers and put them into them.
I usually get my mum to wear mine in as her feet are slightly bigger then mine!
Maybe wearing them with a pair of socks on round the house will stretch them enough to be comfortable later?
Hope you manage to break them in, shame to see a good pair of shoes go to waste lol!
(maybe just keep them for 'bedroom' wear!) |

Put on a thick pair of sock or a number of thin pairs, squeeze feet into shoes.
Blast with a hairdryer and leave to and wriggle your toes to stetch that bit more, cool down naturally. hopefully this should stretch them enough for you |

Get sandwich bags.
Quater fill with water and seal well.
Place in the foot and toe of your shoes.
Put shoes in freezer overnight or more till water is ice for quite a while.
Take out of freezer and allow to defrost for 20 min to an hour so you can take the bag out of shoes.
Wipe the shoe and wear... it WILL fit.
P.S this is for LEATHER shoes
if they are imitation leather or other material then they will need doing more than once or twice.

Put them on and then blow the hair drier on them for a few minutes. When they're very warm, walk around in them till they cool. You may have to do it a few times, but it works - honest. xx |
