Once you've paid for the room, most receptions aren't interested provided what you're doing is legal and doesn't cause a nuisance to other guests. Just don't take the piss and end up with big numbers in there |

Make it earlier rather than later and keep the noise and disturbance down.
You may have more success in a motel-style room (accessed from an outdoor walkway instead of past reception) so look out for that type.
Or book an apartment. The usual booking sites do have apartments available or try the holiday letting type places. You can book city centre places for just one night and they are often a similar price to hotels. |

"we have found that hotel staff don't give a monkeys what you are up to as long as other guests don't complain. "
Thanks, i just didn't want to get stopped at reception with a few guys and have them ask what we are doing! |

Avoid city center ones of any class, they tend to be the ones with security, mainly to stop the pissed up oiks invading lol!
As has been mentioned previously, most staff don't mind what you are up to, within reason, as we found out!

"Don't book jury inn I had a rather embarrassing experience
come do tell don't just leave us wondering lol I was staying and went back to the hotel with a guy I had pulled. Went to the room and about 20 minutes later the guy I was sharing the room with texted to say he was outside and they wouldn't let him in without the pass card, so I ran downstairs to let him in and the guy on the door said he couldn't come in until the other guy had gone so I had to run back upstairs drag the first guy out of bed and take him out then they let the second guy back in "
Ooooooops! That's the sort of thing i really need to avoid! Lol |
