They won't sort it, I spoke to them yesterday and they're saying they won't give any compensation for all the hassle, so me and my wellies are going in store to shout at some people |

I looked on the terms and conditions and it said you can use it for free but you might get some pop up adds, I think I'll wait 7 days then see what happens xx |

I have been with Orange for years. I converted to EE with the last contract and had these problems ever since.
Needless to say EE can go fuck themselves on the next renewal |

I'm with the standard T mobile variant of EE, not 4G, and it randomly blocks mine as well when using mobile networks. Usually find a reset and a cache clear fixes it, but its bloody anoying and becoming more frequent as well.
Plus their "adult only" sites also include Dimplex, who manfacture heaters, bloody anoying when getting parts for work |

Yes I was with Orange, never again, nor would I recommend that company.
Nothing but trouble from start to finish, every time my phone lost connection or the battery died, I had to keep ringing up to lift that adult content off.
I am with 3 now could not be happier.

I've tried most thing clearing data, turning off and on etc sometime it works sometimes it doesn't. All EE say is we are aware of the problem and we are trying to fix it! How long does it take to fix it!! |

I get it with 3network sometimes. I just turn my phone off and on again, usually works.
When I first got the phone though, I had to ring them up to get it turned off, and spent 30 minutes discussing with a foreign call centre lady as to why I wanted to watch porn on my phone. |

I've been with Orange for 8 years hassle free ! Until I was due to upgrade in May, still not been able to do it yet due to lots of problems their end, went into one og their stores, they tried to change me to EE and I got rejected !!!!!
Two weeks later tried online .. Site crashed, two weeks after that tried on the phone only to be told my address was wrong ( I told them it in Feb ) and the phone I wanted was out of stock . Not according to your website I said and got called a liar practically !!
Then another operator said their system wasn't up to date with their website !!!! FFS . So I've give up now. Gonna keep phone n get a Tesco sim for half the price |

total waste of time calling them. we call at least twice a week and last night they tried telling me that it was down to an ongoing issue which they are trying to sort out, 3 months later still trying to sort it....Whatever. they then tried telling me i needed a signal booster and wanted to charge me £106 politely told them to f off. I only live half a mile from a 4g mast which they agree should work. they just talk bull shit. Was perfect on T-mobile. Get their fingers out of their arse and fix it...... |

I have been with orange for years and apart from the issue with content blocking I have found them brilliant. Whenever I have had to call them the staff have been polite and helpful. I have had things for free when it's been my mistake and one of the biggest things for me is I know if I go into tesco I will lose signal but apart from that there has only been one area I lost signal in. The content blocking is a pain but switching off phone and switching it back on sorts it and takes no time to do.
I won't be changing anytime soon from orange. |

EE are having real problems merging the systems after the merger of the companies. they have even started to remove cell stations to cut costs....not a good indication of the companies stance on providing users a good service. best of luck I'm sticking with three. |

Orange don't exist any more I don't think. I was with them for years and still have the same account/number. EE have been next to useless since they took over and I'm going to take some convincing to stay when my contract runs out. I think I'm going to buy a handset and then I have no contract and can chop and change to another supplier. It's a shame because Orange were brilliant and I never had any issues.
I have an iPhone and the button is broken so it's not easy to switch off then on again. Apple won't fix it and neither will EE.
It is driving me mental. |

Blimey and I thought it was just me. Yeah I agree the change from orange to EE has been handled in an extremely ham fisted way.
Orange handed all my data to some strange company in Manchester who called me out of the blue and then gave me a load of hard sell to move to the EE network from Orange.
Still not sure if I've done right thing judging by these comments.
I felt as if I'd been sold a pup. Maybe it is. Only time will tell.

Happens at least twice a week at random times
Take now for instance. I just posted a reply in one of the other forums and tried to click on the lounge, blocked yet again. I did all the stuff like clearing everything and restarting my phone but it still wouldn't allow access.
About half an hour later I try again and the content lock is gone |

"he used to be with virgin and it would randomly block - im with o2 all good here "
O2 works fine - no probes getting fab but I think once I had to pay £1 on a credit card to prove I was 18 then got it back in call time or something. |

It really is such an annoying thing. Restarting my phone used to work but sometimes now it doesn't.
I've tried resetting my content block settings too and that only intermittently works as well.
It pisses me off the most when I'm mid-conversation with someone then you can't access the site to reply |
