Yeah out today. I've not downloaded it yet, just wanted to see what people thought.
People with the 16gb phones might have problems as you need 4gb free storage to download it!! |

it needs 4.6 to do the intial download... but it sits on your iphone at 1.3... i know.. its weird maths... lol
anyway easiest thing to do.. is do an icloud save.... delete to get to the 4.6 you need.... then put everything back on with an icloud download...
or...
i just had to remove a couple of big "game" apps... and then put them back on after.... |

I have an 8gb phone so not enough free memory. I would have to delete everything off my phone I have 3gib free and 3gibs used. This is after deleting quite a bit off my phone  and have no idea about how to re download an icloud backup.. My only issue is how much memory it will then take up as having an 8gib phone is pretty shitty. I have to download apps on my kindle to keep my phone from crashing and going slow. Remind me again why I switched to Apple |

I've only had my new ipad for a couple of days and it's asking me to update. Am a bit loathe to, as if it's anything like my android phone update, I loose good apps. May wait for a while me thinks, as still getting to grips with apple devices. |

Im using a galaxy s4 but still using the 4.2 ice cream os.
im not updating it to the new kit kat os
last time I updated I lost all my apps and music and pics.
I know you can back all that stuff up but for the sake of a few new features I wont ever use... I just stick with the os my phone comes with nowadays
feel sorry for iphone users with a 4gb upgrade to ios8.
was reading some commets on fb about people needimg to delete stuff to fit the update on phone and some people saying it was taking 8 hours to install  |

Call me cynical but new iPhone 6 out shortly and 4.6 gig of space needed to put this on . All us useing our old iPhone fours have no space . Apple trying to twist are arms to go out and buy there new phone .
Won't be down loading it . Won't be keeping up with the jones ! My old iPhone dose everything that I want it to do . |

good shout  should help people with limited space, although it's showing as 1.1gb for me to update on the 5s . I will still probably switch the mac on and do it that way  |

Even if I had space I wouldn't get this new software. I delete itube off my phone and it's no longer on App Store. I could cry. I don't use iTunes either and blink box and spotify are too big for my phone. gonna have to carry my kindle everywhere with me now..
Only good thing about new software I went into apple shop today and got a brand new charger for free.... |

I updated, you only need the the large amount of gig free whilst downloading the app, once its downloaded it only takes up 1gb of space same as the other software has done!
Ive turned off the predictive text as it was doing my head in, but the ability to add multiple pics to messages is cool.. As is the timer on the camera been saying for ages it needed that! |

I have a 4s & iPad 3 both updated pretty smoothly. I hate that they have done away with camera roll though & it's all on collections now......hope that changes back! |

How long is it supposed to take? Mine seems to have been updating about 3 hours I've tried turning the phone of and on stopping it but no luck. Why have I a feeling this was a bad idea |
