Love is a particularly strong word. It has deep emotional meaning. I fear we overuse it though. We love everything these days. Like, do you really love bacon? I mean really? Do you have a strong emotional attachment to it & feel hurt when you don't have some?
I for one am going to try more to put love in its place & make its meaning that little bit more special when I use it. It will also mean having to use a bit more vocabulary which is no bad thing. Who's with me? |

its not the only word used too much or out of context, hate, starving and promise spring to mind..
its been diluted by 'celebrity culture' etc, which ironically is another chuck about tag similar to the 'pc brigade'..
language evolves.. |
