Just wondering how long should you wait for a meet to turn up? They only live a couple of miles away yet it's been 90 minutes since we agreed to meet. Wouldn't mind but there's not even any football on!! |

90 minutes? They can hardly blame the traffic if they live a couple of miles away.
You've been stood up my friend? Either that or a fake profile to take the piss out of people, do they have veri's etc? |

That's the key question. If they're 90 mins late, forget it.
If it was arranged 90 mins ago with a 'let me get ready and I'll be straight around' there's a few hours left yet! Ha! |

I waited a hour outside a pub. Felt a right idiot.
Following week, different man, same treatment but I gave it half hour. Report like they said, I did. think they left the site |

30 mins or so. Message via phone and fab. If youre in the area, try again at venue an hour after the agreed time, in case there was confusion. It is terrible to not notify you that something is up, but there are emergencies that could happen-its just that they would be very rare events and unlikely. |

Well it turns out that the couple from last night were in fact a single man!!
Who would try to pass themselves off as a couple? Surely it'd be obvious when they tried to meet.
But even today he said the female couldn't meet as she was heavily pregnant and if I had condoms and lube!!
So reported for failing to show and then for being fake!!
Proper odd one that!!! |

Sadly some people get off on the idea of setting up a meet, winding people up or whatever it is.
Hopefully it doesn't happen again, mainly because you would be a bit more alert to these jokers
Look at me, it took a few cut-and-runs, 3 hour and 2 hour no-shows and other situations to smarten me up... Ever so slightly, though, I'll always be a dolt |

Not one second unless they've let me know they're running late. |

We meet socially first, no exceptions......always at a restaurant, bar or pub. That way if he/she/they don't turn up, we've not lost out. We'd give somebody half an hour before attempting to rescue an evening.
Can imagine it's frustrating for singles if they were sat waiting in a similar venue.

I've never had to wait for someone as I always meet at home. They've always arrived on time but as some travel a distance I would give them some Lee way if they rang to say they where held up. If I was meeting them elsewhere soon as I finished my drink I'd be gone. If I could get to a meeting point on time so can they |

Aww bless ya him, that's rubbish. I'll be honest I am always late lol, for everything social I'm embarrassed to admit, but I admit this when I'm arranging a meet and if I thought I'd be leaving someone sat in public on their own I'd try really hard not to be. Better luck next time babe |
