So, horror lovers; who is planning to watch this?
Created for American television by Guillermo del Toro and Chuck Hogan, and based on a Trilogy of the same name, it has been running since July in the US.
Science meets vampires, B movie values, amazing gore and a very positive response from American critics who will crash a series if it doesn't make the grade.
Episode 1 'Night Zero' is on Watch at 10 pm on Wednesday. |

I do wanna watch this.
After seeing the promo poster (worm in the eye) I wanna see what the fuss is about.
Plus most vampire tv shows have sucked (no pun intended) so it'll be good to see if this Is decent. |

It's an enjoyable series, but similar to The Walking Dead, it has stupid characters doing stupid things.
It's much better than the walking dead though because it's a lot more entertaining and it's not relentlessly grim.
Pretty interesting mythology for the series too. |

I was watching series 4 of the Walking Dead and then, I wasn't.
It became deeply uninteresting and repetitive.
I'm hoping that The Strain will be much better, I have a feeling that it will be, although I'm going to be on an aeroplane flying to New York when episode one is on.

I'm looking forward to watching this too. I watched walking dead as well but I really didn't like the wife and couldn't care if she got bitten lol..I got bored with it very quickly. I loved true blood because it had some very sexy people. ..ohhh alcide... yummy  |

ok delayed reaction here - but been off work with flu and done nothing for about 2 weeks but catch up on tv and sleep mostly - have watched both series of this and have to say after a slow start it was very good |
