If you had a time machine, what would you go back in time to change?

For me, it would be not to cheat on my boyfriend who I wanted to marry.

My other half had a rough time before we met at twenty.

So I would like to have met before that and been there for her then.

Horsham

There are several times I would change, I suppose the main one was to stay inside when my mates where fucking about with an airpistol.

As I would have got into the Navy, as an artificer.

But if you go back and change it, it won't exist in the future for you to want to go back and change it.

I'd go back to when I was 17 and not start a relationship with the man I was stupid enough to marry when I was 20 and divorce at 22.

I wouldn't change a thing, yep plenty of things have happened which I wish hadn't (not least an abusive childhood) and I'm sure there are things that I've done that have hurt people....but it's all part of lifes tapestry and its made me the person I am today.

Totally agree.

Everything that has happened in my life, both good and bad, it what has shaped me into who I am today.

Would be cool to have a DeLorean though

Wouldn't mind going back and observing a few things though

Nothing. Things happen for a reason, make you the person you are today. Life's struggles and wrong turns make you stronger and more resilient.

There is nothing to say that making these changes would make your life any better than it is now or that somewhere along the line your life will still end up the way it is now.

Shit happens. I got off lightly compared to some people.

Can't live your life looking in the rear view mirror when there's a whole world in front of you.

That's possibly the only thing I'd change...but then I have a good job now, maybe I wouldn't have followed this path?!?

Somewhere in North Norfolk

There are a few couples I'd pop in to visit, to hand them a condom, at an appropriate time.

Definitely!! I know who's top of my list at the moment.

I would go back and have left my ex when I knew he was cheating rather than wasting 2 years of my life.

The top of my list is getting to the point I'll soon have to write it along the length of a roll of lining paper!

Sounds a bit like "back to the future II".

But if I had a time machine I'd love to do the same. Probably put lotto on and win about £1m, don't want to be too greedy.

I`d go back in time and get my partners cancer diagnosed early and into treatment then maybe she would still be here today. Also then go back and tell my best friend to go for a MRI scan on his brain to realise he had an aneurysm and thats why he was suffering serious headaches and hopefully that would save his life and not for it to pop in the pub when we was having a pint with me! And that was that. Gone!

would hate to go back and change things so I never met my wife and had my 4 great kids so instead I would use the time machine to go forward in time to check out lottery numbers so we could live the rest if our lives comfortably

I would have told my friend (who committed suicide) to wait until he was 18.

I would go back to New Years Eve two years ago and refuse to babysit for my youngest. Then she wouldn't have met the TWAT
