So if I get a message from someone I will always try to respond even if its a no thanks, but what I'm getting a lot of now is why's! If I politey decline your offer to cum fuck u cos u are free today..I shouldn't have to explain futher than no thankyou! And to be questioned about why I can't or what I'm doing is just starting to really get on my nerves! I kind of refrain from your not my type etc cos this usually leads to a whole heap of abuse! So should I even bother replyin with a polite no thanks or just delete?

Do what you think is best. We just delete all that we're not interested in. We rarely get abused for taking this approach. But that's when the block button comes in handy. |

Sadly one does soon learn that deleting does avoid the comeback. I'm not sure the block facility is bottomless anyway, I think there is a limit?

If there is a limit I haven't reached it yet and I block quite a lot.... |

Guys on here have been doing this since the dawn of rejection. I don't even say no thanks anymore, just instant block if i'm not interested. Guys get abusive on here when their ego is bruised. Just realise these people have major issues and you don't, smile and move on |

I'm all for good manners, but no should mean no and there shouldn't be any comeback on that. It's sad that there many others have experienced the opposite.
Fwiw, I only message those who's profiles I've read and if there's a potential spark based on that. If my message gets deleted without a reply i don't see it as a big deal really. |

Sadly ts the way SOME people are!
Sometimes politeness can be seen as a weakness and a certain type of person will bang away trying to get you to change your mind or explain yourself - which usually ends in a tirade of abuse if you take the bait.
We no longer send a no thanks because of it and I think non Neandethal guys understand that. |

It's irritating when you say no. They ask how come, just out of interest, etc, you point out they live 300 miles away. Next is an offer to come to yours or meet in the middle and so on. |

Come on now: do what's right for YOU! This is about YOUR enjoyment, no? You don't have to justify your decision to anyone. |

I wear my heart on my sleeve too sometimes. I made the mistake once on another site to explain why and instead of taking it on the chin, all I got back was insults and accusations. I'll be blocking from now on. |

If I send a message to a lady and get a reply I am happy it might say not interested then you respect that decision what is up with some fellas on here, all they do is make the situation a lot worse than it needs to be |

It's always nice to get a reply if you've taken the time to message someone. But if you get a message back saying thanks but no thanks that should be that, I don't understand why people start asking for explanations...... Which leads me to understand why so many people do just delete and block, to be honest I think I'd do the same. |

If you reply to say no thanks, that should be it. Perhaps consider making some standard text that you can vary and try out, to see if something else works better. I rarely get asked 'Why?' these days, but used to. I prefer not to block but realise it can save everyones effort downline. |

After posting in here yesterday i decided to see if maybe i was being too hasty in just blocking and not replying. So i messaged back 3 guys saying "Thanks but you're not my type. Happy swinging!" . 1replied calling me a "superficial bint" who could fuck off. Another said he was "throwing me a bone" by asking coz i was "fat and ugly". The third replied nicely. So i'm back to blocking again. Lol! |

I say no thanks and thats it
Don't feel that you have to get into any sort of conversation about why not
Although the last person that did ask me why got a response along the lines of never ask a person why they don't want to meet you, you won't like the answer as it won't change anything and will probably put you in a shitty mood |

Keep it simple. Delete. If he comes back with why? Block. Any guy that has to ask why you have exercised your freedom of choice is socially inept, immature, needy or all the above. |

I'd be chuffed to bits with a 'no thank you' after the effort I make to write a detailed and relevant message to someone.
It's so much nicer than being ignored.
If then I reply(which I only do to say thanks for responding) to find I'm blocked (never happened yet) I'd bare no ill will at all.
I'd say respond and block 100%
It's lovely! |
