Hate them......well...more a case of they hate me!!

I could (before my accident) abseil down cliff faces upside down...climb without any ropes or safety equipment....but step onto a rollercoaster and I was a gibbering blob of jelly.

Did the corkscrew thingy at alton towers when I was 14...was sick as a dog.

Went back some years later with mrs stu and the kids...they "bullied" me into trying it again....I did, and was ill for three days!!!

I've never set foo on one since

Hate the things.

I used to work with a sucessful rollercoaster designer and builder.

He was a great chap but having suffered from the cups of tea he used to make there is no way I am getting on a rollercoaster just in case he had something to do with it.

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

Corkscrew at Alton Towers was always built up as the 'ultimate' in my youth...went on it at the age of about 19 and it was hugely anticlimactic....

I'm not that keen on them generally, but did enjoy the one around New York, New York hotel in Vegas. There's a log flume one at Circus Circus that, because of a need to keep water away from the non-riding public, has a large perspex deflector that has the side effect of giving the rider a secondary shower

I LOVE a rollercoaster...The faster the better! It has to be full of 'G-force' inducing twists & turns!

Air is rather special at Thorpe Park, as is the new Saw coaster but, for me, The Big One, is by far, the most superior in the UK!

We're both coaster addicts, and have spent a lot of time in florida, where the finest is probably SheikRa, followed by Hulk and Duelling Dragons.

Of the UK ones, Rita and Nemesis at Alton Towers are our favourites.

Can anyone remember the one that used to be in Battersea Park in London? Think a lot of it was built of wood. I do know it was destroyed by fire. Rode on it just the once and it put me off rollercoasters for life!

Thorpe Park is the bst by far.

My son loves Tidal Wave and his first proper ride was Detonator - after that he was hooked.

Single rider queue for us every time get to fit so much more in.

Its a fair trek from us but we'll be there over the summer.
