Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound |
The shops are full of cardigans.
I've just bought on of those loose knit, long slouchy ones.
This evening is also the first time I feel cold enough to don a cardi.
Have you bought a new one? What sort?
Is it almost time for that cardi avatar challenge? (I couldn't find the original thread suggesting that.)

I'm going to have to buy some new ones as it gets chilly in our office at work, plus I'm to mean to put the hearing on until it gets really really cold!
Went to Canterbury today and have seen some lovely ones |

"I'm off on my "summer" hols in a couple of weeks so not looking at cardis...yet! That said, I'm cold and want to put the heating on."
You can't put the heating on in September.
Get that hot blooded man draped around you instead.

I'm poorly, he's gone to do the shopping and would go nuts if I put the heating on. My daughter did the other day and he nearly fainted. He's Dutch and said copper wire was invented by two Dutch men fighting over a penny...so you'll understand his pain if I put the heating on! |

I'm sorry you are poorly.
I do understand his pain. I never put the heating on until November and it's off on 31st March. He sounds like a good solid soul.

"I bought 2 lovely ones from Primark they are stunning however they are hand wash only so will be worn not very often
Have you got a delicate cycle on your machine?
"
I won't risk it, they have gorgeous detailing on the shoulders with diamonds and beading so I'll just hand wash them...I'm really chuffed with them...getting some more when I get paid |

"Why am I still hot with the window open?
I'm still on the summer duvet. I reckon you get used to an ambient tempreature...people often keep their coats on in my house. "
I'm always the one saying I'm hot when everyone else is saying isn't it chilly? I think it's my layer of blubber keeping me warm |

I know people who have both double glazing and central heating. I cannot cope with their houses, i want to strip to my pants. |

Everyone should just get some blubber, it's so much cheaper than cardigans. Saying that we just got our winter stock in at work...is it too early to wear a furry lined, t trapper hat? |

My head would melt in one of those. The problem with blubber is I can't wear lovely thick jumpers, scarves and wooly hats unless it's in the minuses outside |

I'm with you on that, I can't wear a hat unless there is a freezing wind and then it's mostly just for my ears sake. |

Is the cardi-man phase still fashionable?"

Do you have a cardi to match every pair of shoes?
Heavens no, but I am in double figures. "
I just wanted to check how far your collection went. I think you've probably got room for more then.

I have a newish slouchy long one and a few shrug types for work. I am more of a jumper fan generally though and have in fact changed my avatar to my current favourite pullover. For some reason I love it although it's a ridiculous 80's style off the shoulder one. |

It looks lovely. I did notice the 80s style off the shoulder ones in the shop. I did them then and don't think I can now.

My landlord has actually put double glazing in some of the houses on the estate, and their rent is 200 per month more expensive than mine and also, I'm told the fire doesn't draw nearly as well..
