Research the company as much as possible.
Prepare myself for questions I know they will probably ask
Think of some good questions to ask them to at the end of the inter_iew to understand them and the company |

do a bit of research on the company, the role and if possible the people you'll be working with.
work out answers to the usual strengths/weaknesses questions you might encounter.
Go in with the attitude of 'why should i come and work for you' as opposed to their 'why should we give you job' from them- but don't go past confidence and into arrogance.
Relax be yourself, if this isn't right for them then its the wrong job for you both |

Learn the company history and position in the market (as well as their USPS against competitors). And make sure I know my numbers and CV inside and out.
If I were a guy, I'd get my suit dry cleaned too! |

"What would be good questions to ask at the end?
"
What's the culture like here?
What would my day look like if I worked here and what tasks would I be required to fulfil?
What's the hardest part of the job I'm applying for?
What position did you start with when you joined?

Firms use different assessments - for example try googling STAR technique - it depends on what you are going for - but be enthusiastic but not overly
When I inter_iew I always remember the enthusiastic people - be yourself and good luck |

Depends what type of industry and what position you're going for i.e. who's inter_iewing you... but I always treat inter_iews as a 'friends with benefits' scenario. I go in with the objective of at least coming out with a friend... and if I get the job offer then that's an added benefit
I've found this more relaxed, sociable, approach to inter_iews has stood me in good stead... whilst others clam up and try looking professional I already look like someone you'd like to work with.
My best inter_iew, without doubt, was also for the most important job I ever got... I turned up totally jet lagged, almost d*unk acting, and spent the whole inter_iew making the room of inter_iewers giggle. If I hadn't done that I wouldn't have got the job... as each of them left the inter_iew petitioning for me to get the job because they wanted to work with me.
Sometimes the real world is topsy turvey like that |

ask if it is a capability/compentency based inter_iew
if so, you will need to consider specific examples to speak them through.
situation
task
action
result
or similar.
good luck |

If no-one minds, though why I am asking I don't know but I am going to copy and paste some of the responses onto Word as I am terrible at inter_iews, don't sell myself enough my ex line manager said; he knows I can do the job but I fail miserably at it, find it difficult to big myself up, if that makes sense |

Good luck!
Only just seen this thread, but here's basic tips:
Smile and greet all panel members
Open, positive body language - think relaxed and confident
Answer strongly, be succinct where possible and don't waffle
Link your answers to the message to the panel - bring out positivity and surprise them with something skills wise, if possible
Ask closing questions on their professional development, where they see the company going etc and the impact of that role etc
Close on a positive - "look forward to hearing from you' or similar |

Good luck
How about , 'What's been the greatest challenge you've faced over the last year'...then hopefully from some sort of conversation where you have had experience in said situation, or translated experiences.
Treat the whole thing more like a chat, it's important you get on with them as much as they with you. |

End of October. Is going to be an intense role. Should be a nice challenge.
