I didn't have a favourite teacher except my reception class teacher who was my first crush   However I've had a few mentors in my adultlife. My first one when I was in 6th form and I am still in touch with him. He was the biggest influence in my young life apart from my parents. |

I got on great with my PE teacher.
Strangely, almost 20 years after leaving school, I am now a football coach & primary PE teacher. Oh & am in contact with my old PE Teacher.
But I have many teachers "now" who I could call my favourites lol

My favourite teacher was the one I had in my last year at Primary school.
The best year of my entire school life.
His class was fun!!!
I even have him as a friend on Facebook
We did all sorts of cool projects like building a Space Command module in the corner of the classroom and doing a slide show to other classes with slides we'd made ourselves to the Music of ELO - sort of a VERY primitive music video.
The guy was a legend!!

My English teacher, she would keep me behind to talk to me, sit on the desk in front, exposing the top of her stockings .. Smile beautifully as my erection was bloody obvious. .. The best teacher I had was outside of school, can't remember his name but he was a coach for cycling. He was a bastard, he would push you all the time, I came off in a time trial. He got to me first and got me going again very quickly.
He taght me a lot back then, not just about cycling. |

My French teacher, Mrs Ackerley...she was great fun and took us on a trip to gay Paree when we were 16...of course, I ended up in lots of trouble (almost sent home for smoking before we hit Lancaster, buggering off to a club in Paris, exchanging "favours" for dope in a pub across the road from our hotel, etc.)...I ended up working in my old school in 2001 and when she properly retired in 2003 she took great pleasure in regaling the entire staff room with my Paris shenanigans in her speech  |

Mr Smith the English teacher. He had a real passion for the subject, he got everyone interested, he knew how to communicate with 16yr olds, he commanded respect but also affection & he wanted me to become an English teacher, he always had time for anyone who needed or wanted to talk.

mrs bellis - geography teacher and forum tutor for two years - thought she was the bees knees for some reason - maybe cos she took the time to talk to us as young people -not just kids at school - we all liked her |
