"If you were invited to stay the night with Oscar Pistorius would you do it ? "

"
No i wouldn't.
But can anyone else imagine the spring he used to put into doggy sex?
that made me chuckle"
Me too, that was a good one.
"cant see how anything about this is funny...sorry
whether its having no legs or a girl being shot and killed.."
No, fair point, but it is human nature to bring humour into tragedy. It's a coping mechanism.
Anyone old enough to remember the jokes that were floating about when the Space Shuttle Challenger exploded on take off. A tragic event. |

yeah..its a coping mechanism that I'd like to explain to the families of victims.
Personally its something I dont really get, and most that know me know I like a good laugh...I just find it a bit more disrespectful, in this case in particular the jokes about being disabled and a famous sports star have overshadowed the killing of a young woman. |

"Was...."Need Another Seven Astronauts" and the like really that funny??"
I didn't say that it suits everyone.
It's just how some people are.
I'm always finding things amusing in everyday life. It's part of who I am and what keeps me sane.
Doesn't make me any less caring or sympathetic towards other people though.
In fact, as I'm into film making, I quite often see something and think to myself 'there's a film in that'
More like a comedy sketch though |

Wasn't a pop! just didn't understand why you referenced that as if it made "something" ok (or maybe that's just how I read it). Some jokes are just too far. A lot of the challenger ones were just plain sick but I guess that's my nature |

"Is it wrong for me to find him attractive?
Wrong? - it could be classed as suicidal, my lady. "
I can find him attractive and not use a loo around him? That's not suicidal then? |

"What an odd thing to ask..
My thoughts also. "
Why is it an odd thing to ask ?
The question was asked after a poster stated on another thread that it was a shame the public will always believe he was guilty despite the court finding him innocent .
So the question was asked and it would seem to be the case from the answers |
