I think I prefer toast especially peanut butter on toast, yum!

Do you prefer toast or a sandwich? You cannot say "Toasted sandiwch" cos that's cheating!

nooooooo please dont bring marmite into this place again - i love the stuff - so much so when i was pregnant i had a jar of it on my desk - the ginormous jar and used to dip my finger in - much to the horror or the unmarmite crowd i worked with

Depends what the filling/topping is as some things are better in sandwiches than on toast!

I have not tried toast with gravy, but you can't have gravy without having some bread to mop it up.

I used to have banana toasted sandwiches when we were kids, one of them.in a bowl with a scoop of ice cream.

Loughborough

I took sandwiches for my lunch when I went to the zoo.

The monkeys were begging for toast, said they craved toast, dreamt of toast, all they could thing about was toast, toast, and more toast!

So I said to them " but I have only got bread".........

Thats ok, they said, we can always put it under the gorilla!

I hate butter on a sandwich as it's all I can taste, but love it on toast !

OP- depends on my mood and time of the day.
