Don't have a problem. Lie down, turn over............fast asleep, no problem. Thunderstorm ? what thunderstorm ? My house would have to shake to wake me up before I am ready |

fellow insomniac here - first step stop stressing over it - the body will eventually take enough sleep to keep it just ticking over - be it only a hour or two a night - ( i did this for years and just had literally an odd night where i totally conked out - ) - it was a doctor that said this after me trying all the obvious remedies - a sleeping pill gave me 4 hours but left me feeling worse the next day - |

I don't think pills will do it, a solid sleep would be amazing |

"

This is me too. I've had a couple of hours because I needed them, now I'll be awake until 2 or 3 I expect. I'm not an insomniac, I have absolutely no trouble falling asleep, but staying asleep is another thing altogether! |

Bit of both, sheep wearing cow ones, quite confusing! |

"How do you sleep!!!!!! It's impossible
Try trapping your prick between 2 wardrobe doors when you close them together quickly!"
Surely that will be more of a wake scenario |

most insomniacs get the sleep that they 'need'.
just not neccesarily at the times they want.
people can do quite well on an hour a day. maybe 4.
i had a friend who couldnt sleep at night at all.. after 3 years they changed to night shift.
5 years later they love it.. get their 2 hours rejuv when they have their 'natural crash' between 10-12.
if you get what you are needing, don't worry too much. worry will only make things worse. even just relaxing.. like now, instead of being on here, you could be totally chilling.. relaxing your brain enough to slowly 'trickle charge' some of your energy. just lie back in silence or listen to some chill out tunes while imagining a lady running a fur mitt all over your body top to toe.
relax when you can. pass out when you need to. find out what triggers what.
good luck!! |

More likely to wake up with a cock like a chisel head
Mind it would be a good ladybum intruder. |

I crashed out in a bar in Aiya Napa in early hours of the morning many years ago, woke up in there around 9am, only to find some cheeky fecker had put a flyer in my shirt pocket for......Club Insomnia, the club you never fall asleep in". |

If you are still awake i gave some advice the other night which did work, when breathing on the in breath count one (inside your head not out loud) then breathe out count two, this helps you regulate breathing and your brain doesnt wander! I also have headphones in with set playlist of calming songs so when my body hears them it knows its sleep time |

sometimes we forget to simply go to bed and try because we feel awake - i can stay awake all night through and the next day - feel crap but can do it without too much aggro - but just taking yourself to bed and relaxing can be all it needs |

Try doing relaxation exercises before you go to sleep. Either that or a quick wank! |

The mindfulness book suggests focussing on something you can control, your breathing. In and Out will do, rather than 1 and 2 .. And try hard not to think of anything else than thr breathing ....it works for me. |
