is all well and good but my mates dog does it in 0.7s. A Meatball rolled off my plate.

Ah but the 5 second rule is only for dry foods in out house (crisps, sweets, etc) so a meatball would be excluded from said rule!

My meatball rolled off the table and onto the floor ....then my poor meatball rolled out of the door it rolled down the garden and under a bush then my poor meatball was covered in mush

This has been proven wrong by Mythbusters, the same amount of bacteria gets on the food if it is on the ground 1 sec or 10 secs.

Oh my kids will pick up things whether its been there 10 seconds or 20 minutes lol! Especially my son who hides food and then he'll just magically have started eating a malteaser he had a week ago!! lol
