I was out yesterday with my daughter and a guy stuck his head out his car window and whistled at me, my daughter looked in shock and said....phedo I'm only 13, so i said to her.... i think he was whistling at me not you, she replied.... As if, why would he whistle at you your old   |

Hehe. I think builders doing it are just traditional horsing around.
If anything, take it as a compliment and move on ; )
Its better than them NOT whistling if you think about it, at least in a way they are saying "Fuck, look at that!" lol. |

As a "hairy arsed ignorant builder" myself, i see a lot of horseplay on sites and lads wolf whistling etc.... Its only done to get a reaction, wether that reaction is a coy little smile, a cute giggle and shake of the head or an outburst of "what the fuck u looking at"....it all livens up a long day.... Oh and can i just add, most whistling, obscene comments and general sexual innuendo comes from gangs of girls these days....but u wont hear guys complaining bout it..and believe me, the girls when in groups can be worse than the lads... |

Try travelling around town as a lone woman. Unwanted attention can be intimidating. And no one should be made to feel like that. |
