As a young one on this site (18 years old) I've found it hard to get messages or even a wink off anyone that I'm looking for, when I started the site it seemed to be just gay guys who wanted to meet but I changed my preferences and still no luck, so this left me wondering, why are women in my area not looking for someone my age? Because there seem to be plenty of women on here from where I live!! :-  |

Because young guys are usually too inexperienced. Girls my age (20) are more likely to want slightly older guys. Women in their 40s are likely to have kids your age. So you need to find the middle ground. Good luck. |

Dont know about your area but for the most part Id guess its about expected levels of maturity with somebody your age. Ive got a daughter only 3 years younger than you and Im only mid 30's which I would say is an average age on here. So if they, like me have teenage kids its doubtfull they are going to want to meet a teenager. I might be completely wrong but Id bet thats gonna go against you sorry  |

It is going to be your age I think and there is nothing you can do about that. Maybe stick around, make a few friends through the forum, attend a social.

Maybe if you put more information on your profile, potential meets might then have enough information to decide whether or not to meet you. As it is, they're deciding not to. You might think it's your age that is preventing you from meeting, but what if it's your profile? |

What makes you think it is your age that is the problem? Are you maximising everything else you could do to get a meet? Or just blaming something that you can't influence?

I recently got chatting with a 20 yo man and offered to help him out by meeting him for a social....just coffee. Just a social and a way for him to get his first verify. We chatted for a while and he seemed to be a cut above the rest of the young guys on here. I had hopes this young man would be mature and act like an adult. Sadly he turned out to be a young pup with no manners.
I am not impressed....
Good luck OP. This 51 year old woman will never try and help a 20+yo man ever again. |

Actually you have only one pics..and your profile is avarage.

Obviously, if it's the sole fact that you and the OP are 18 is the barrier to meets then you can't do anything about it except wait. So why not leave and come back when you think your age won't be a barrier?

I'm afraid for us it will be your age - I have a son 3 years older than you!
Try to make your profile appear more mature and appealing. We met a guy slightly younger than our lowest age limit and he turned out to be very mature. |
