Epson wifi printers work from apple devices with an app installed which is free, epson inks are the cheapest being less than £1 each from ebay
Think cannon printers work without an app straight from ipad but running costs and purchase price higher!

I use a hp photosmart. It is a wireless printer connected to my wifi router so I can print from my laptop.
To print from my iPad a you need to do is go to the App Store and download the free hp app to connect the iPad and print documents/photos etc |
