I've drank my water, had my bananas, my grapefruit juice and I'm now drinking my coffee to try and wake up, but I literally feel as though I've been microwaved.
What are your personal best hangover cures? |

"Bit late now but McDonald's breakfasts....double sausage and egg mcmuffun meal. They have hangover cures baked into them I swear!! "
I have the best cafe in town one block away, but I never touch grease the day after, because I usually end up eating something late and dont want to "clog up" lol |

Never tried it, but a scientist on tv reckoned a can of and bag of salt and vinegar crisps sorts a hangover out.
I just think water and occasionally more alcohol cure it |

"Rehydration not caffeine but water with a few bannans and painkillers.....some ginger to settle one stomach helps too."
I would agree with the ginger if I didn't have gastritis, but my Omeprazol prescription takes care of the stomach, thanks anyway. Green tea is also great for an unsettled stomach |

Thick milkshakes - either made at home or from mcdonalds
The ice coldness soothes your throat and clears your head and the milk believe it or not settles your stomach.
I discovered it once with a bad hangover on a party weekend everyone was having McDs I couldn't stomach it so had the milkshake, worked wonders, everyone I've told to try it has agreed |

What are your personal best hangover cures?" pubs have been open for a couple of hours now, you would be cured by now if you were out at opening time. |

One of the best alcoholic drinks I ever had was the 5 Dollar Shake. Yeah it cost £5 but it got you buzzed quick, you weren't hungry on the way home and as you say, the milkshake settled your stomach. |

Lol well aside from the fact that my insides are so destroyed that I have to have a biopsy every two years, I don't have the money to keep drinking, otherwise I might. I miss being 20! |

"Take a bottle of water with you and go for an hour long walk. It always clears my head."
That is one of my favourite things to do. I will as soon as my back eases up. Was labouring for a few quick bucks yesterday. |

Please don't laugh
What I usually do is drink a pint of milk and a banana before I start drinking and also drink a pint of milk, banana and take 2 paracetamol tablets before I go to bed. It always works for me. The reason for this? Our sugar levels drops and our bodies are dehydrated, both milk and bananas contain carbohydrates. |

Also because bananas contain a lot of phosphorous (I think it's phosphorous anyway), which helps to prevent cramps etc. I love me bananas, but I never have that many around when I need them lol |

I have been a barmaid, and was taught, raw egg, tomato juice, and worchester sauce.
Personally I would suggest getting plenty of sugar back in your body, or a good old fashioned fry up lol.

"A death burger...from the burger van...burnt! The charcoal soaks up the alcohol"
I did used to love a good charred burger. Gastritis changed that for me |

Lots of sleep, some painkillers and a KFC! With .
That has worked for me for the past 20 odd years. And I get hangovers that would make a zombie shoot himself in the head.

"Ahhh,
I never said I went for the KFC.....my teetotal husband is the KFC hunter/gatherer.
Zombies are hot right now (So says my 17 year old son )
x"
Lol yeah that's a good buddy system you and the hubs got there!
And zombies are white hot, but not in the sense that I'd fuck one, even though some sick puppy has already created zombie porn. |
