Hi everyone, we have our first meet tonight with a couple with have known a while, we have been for drinks with them before but never had a sexual meet as of yet. Is it normal to feel anxious and scared? What should I expect or is their anything I can do to calm me down a bit? Thanks Nancy

Nerves are natural but as long as the conversation flows thinks will go well. Maybe a drink but not too many will help.

Adrenaline is good, will give you a buzz! A bit like a first date or kiss lol.

As long as you're sure you want to do this and are doing it willingly, I'm sure once the ice is broken you'll have a wicked time!

For me the excitement / nerves is half the fun!

Take care and have a brilliant time! Hope it goes well!

We still get very nervous.

Don't overdo do it on the drink and just be yourself.

If you've got to the stage of having a meet you're doing something right.

Good luck and enjoy

on the not over doing the drink.

Nerves most get them its part of the anticipation. Be friendly open and hope it goes well for you.

When that nervous excitement isn't there, for me it's time to stop.

Don't drink too many for Dutch courage... nothing sexy about a pissed up meet.

And have fun! The fact that you've already met socially and are moving forward should help settle the nerves but hang onto the anticipation... it's the best feeling.

Have a great time and remember, they may be feeling the same sense of anticipation and nerves as you are.

No meet will take things any faster than the least confident member wants to and full swap is something to be worked up to, not something you have to dive right into on play meet one. xxx

I know it's probably just a figure of speech but he should be supporting you and not dismissing your concerns as stupid

Nerves are natural. And to me an essential part of any meet

It's not stupid to be nervous. Someone said similar to me once and it pissed me right off. Pretty much everyone gets nervous. Good luck OP.

One last bit of advice- don't do anything you're not totally happy with. It's better to wish you'd done something... than regret doing something you didn't want to. x

Just relax and enjoy yourself. Don't tell them you normally bury bodies in the garden, though, as they may not see the funny side.
