Don't go for the Samsung S5. It's awful. I have it and absolutely hate it. Wish I'd stuck with HTC. (Never been an Apple girl so never tried the iPhone). |

For specs, speed and techy stuff, Samsung.
For "but it's sooooo shiny", Apple.
I was in the Apple store whilst in London, and I know that the specs or inferior to most modern Android phones. But they do look nice. |

The iPhone 3 was the best looker, they have gone downhill looks wise since then but build quality is the best in the industry and as I said earlier, after sales service is exemplary |

I've only ever had iPhones so don't know any different. As MG said after care is excellent.
I've had the 5 now for two years now and never had a problem. The 6 will have to be amazing for me to upgrade because this one is all I need in a phone. |

iPhone6 announced next week, bigger screen and new iOS no point changing now before you have seen this. Least if you wait you will have a choice of upto date phones from all manufacturers.
Lots if android phones being realeased over the next couple of weeks too. |

I use an iPhone have used Samsung galaxy's and like android just a shame about build quality. The samsung's use too much plastic for my liking so will stick to iPhone until Samsung comes up with a better build. Not going to change to the iPhone 6 though as they will want too much for one |

Currently using a Samsung Note 3, easily the best phone I've had so far, though might be a bit big if swapping from an iPhone 5. That said I tried the iPhone 5 before getting the note 3, some elements of the OS are nice, but that dane screen is way tooooooooo small and the on screen keyboard is unusable - oh and I hate the lock in Apple employ.
The Note 4 was anounced on Wednesday and sounds like a nice evolution on the Note 3 complete with metal construction. However the iPhone 6 and iWatch are due to be anounced on Tuesday, so unless you definitely want to move away from Apple, it may be worth waiting till then to see what changes they have made. |

"Had the Samsung Galaxy S2 many moons ago. Worst phone I've ever had, totally put me off Samsung phones"
Saying that, I love mine. Even when it was time to up grade i asked them to find me another S2 . |

Samsung galaxy by far the best, no tie in to anything, android apps all do what apple do and more. No syncing, completely compatible with itunes library (should you have been foolish enough to pay exorbitant costs)
No comparisons for me, all my friends have iphones and never stop complaining. |

If you are forced to use Android, choose pretty much anything except Samsung would be solid gold advice, really. Their phones are terrible.
Of course, if you can have an iPhone, why use Android in the first place? |

thing I found about the I phone is they promise you the world before release then when it turns up oooo yes its just the same as my old one literally the only new thing really from the 4 to the 5 was oooooooo you can get it in different colours now with the Samsung I have the note 3 its a brilliant phone and when the 4 does come out all new software will automatically upgrade on to my phone too.
