Was browsing through profiles and a memory arose.
Just before midnight on 31st December 1979 my brother and I were sitting waiting on the bells, we got to discussing age, I was due to turn 11 that coming year and him 9. We spoke of a new decade and what the next decade would bring. I remember vividly saying "I will be 21 in 1990, 31 in 2000"
We both looked at each other and said "that's too old"
So I thought id start a tread asking if members remember thinking ridiculous things like that?
So I will start off.
I remember thinking "will I ever get pubic hair" |

I remember leaving University in 1993 and us all vowing to ensure we got together for the big Millennium celebrations in the distant future on Dec 31 1999. Well that never happened! Lol |

Yeap sat on the curb wiv my bestest friend as a kid, working out how old we would be in the year 2000 and would we have flying cars and pills instead if meals! Celebrated her 50th recently and we did laugh remembering that conversation ... We were about 10 yr olds.... How time flys!  |
