I just got new reading glasses, lost my last ones! Feel self-conscious wearing them at work, but am getting used to it. Trying to think of them as a new fashion accessory. Got to get used to it as my eyes are only going to get worse !
I often find glasses on a guy really attractive. Especially if he's a bit geeky anyway (I can't think of a better word than geeky to describe it - sorry!)
Do you find glasses attractive ? Do you wear contact lenses instead and anyone worn the ones that change your eye colour ? |

Glasses have all kinds of uses, as much as I wish I didnt need them or contacts but I grew up with them. They do make you look more intelligent, which people generally appreciate, and they also act as day to day safety goggles in shitty weather and environments full of people that dont see the connection between throwing stuff and eye injuries. |

"I have an eye condition so wear special contact lenses, I would love laser eye surgery but sadly it is a no for me."
I have a pretty bad stigmatism in one eye and they said they can't give me eye laser surgery. They offered Intra-Occular lenses instead, which was what they gave cataract patients and cost round 5 grand. So I said fuck that! |

"Had both, dailies for going out and goggles for day to day use. Goggles all the time now as trying to get the buggers out when inebriated is not funny "
One of my closest friends spent ages trying to get his contact lens out ! Ended up going to hospital as he'd made his eye so sore . They said - no it's not in your eye still - he came home and found it in the bathroom sink! |

I wear glasses for work and contacts for nights out. I've just ordered a new pair of contacts though because I wear verifocals and they're trying to get the prescription right |

I wear glasses pretty much all the time unless I'm going out (or taking part in an activity they might fall off during) in which case I wear disposable lenses. It makes me feel like Clark Kent/Superman though; since I rarely wear make-up with my glasses people that see me everyday don't recognise me when I'm out without them. |

I used to wear contacts for sports but found I couldn't wear them indoors. Glad I no longer have to faf around with them.
Never found glasses to be a drawback.

I wear contacts as I wore glasses since I was a child and always found them very restrictive. I think glasses on a women can look great or awfull like everything else you can select to wear its about getting the ones that suit you. |

The coloured contacts work best if you have blue, green, grey eye colour, if you have brown eye colour you can't really tell. I wear contacts that i change just once a month, i sleep with them in, so much prefer them to glasses. |
