London & North Wessex Downs

Anyone managed to get out/ planning on getting out into the great outdoors to explore the hills, mountains and moors with a small rollable house in your pack?

Not anytime soon, but I did get my tent out a few weeks back and put it up in the garden to check it's still OK, as my last camping trip was 11 years ago

Tent is fine, so maybe next year I can take my kids off for a short camping break.

"Made a tent in bed this mornin"

That's the only sort of tent I am interested in.

North of The Wall - youll need your vest

Im tempted to go this week as the weather is supposed to be decent.

Had big plans to go earlier in the Summer but as soon as I started to sort myself out the good weather disappeared

Went camping in the New Forest a few times last year. I've not had the chance to do it this year yet

I keep suggesting we go camping to Fox.

Well we have just purchased a new tent after ours failed miserably the August bank holiday weekend. Had to cut trip short.

We are planning to get a weekend or two in before it gets too cold.

Want to give the new beast a whirl.

Ended up getting a bigger one than planned but it's a beauty with loads of room for guests

I remember once walking into a dealership and informing the salesman that I was looking for a recreational vehicle.

He replied 'To camp?'

So in a deep voice I replied 'I want to buy a recreational vehicle'

He responded 'Camper?'

So in a mincey voice I replied 'Oh, make up your mind!'

MAMOBA, miles and miles of bugger all (Aberdeenshire)

"Good to see people getting out and about!

Yet again (third year in a row!) we are helping to organise a camping/swinging weekend on a very private campsite in South Wales over the weekend of 17-19th July.

There will be a marquee for the event on the Saturday night, disco, buffet and theme this year is Heaven and Hell, so bring your halos or horns lol!

More details on the welsh forums, or mail us for info, prices (not-for-profit event) etc.

Hope to see you there!"

I think we get the message - the same post on over half a dozen threads?
