I have to do them almost weekly - no biggie, in and out in 5 minutes if I time it right, my veins are big and my blood gushes out - seems all my fluids leave my bodying a hurry!

You get used to being a pin cushion when you have kids. It's something we all have to get used to being in this lifestyle so it's no biggie.

We both went for a full sexual health check up yesterday where they always take blood - surely swingers should all get regularly checked even when you always use condoms? Giving blood doesn't bother me - you just feel a small prick for a second! Z

They can never find my veins in my arms. I had a doctor use me as a pin cushion once ,she was talking about going into my foot at one point

The only time I dislike them is when the phlebotomist is sticking me over and over like she's readying a microwave lasagne, because she cant hit the bloody vein.

O o O oo

They don't bother me as long as I don't look...but it did bother a little old lady a while back.

I was in a queue where you had to take a ticket, when it came to my turn a little old lady stood up first so I let her go on the first chair, I sat on the second, she had a trainee on hers who hit the wrong place, blood spouted like a fountain, little old lady fainted and all hell broke loose and all I was thinking was ......thank fuck she pushed in front as that would have been me.

Bad Ruggers !

P.O. Box DE1 0NQ

As I've been on Warfarin for 9 yrs, I have to have them regularly,(luckily I live right next to the DRI). Also my bone marrow is making too many red blood cells, so if the count is too high, I have to have a venesection (I call it a vampire session). This is where I have a pint of blood drained off.

A pint of blood weighs 1lb
