when i was little girl we used to have a fir cone hung up by the back door - apparently if it was closed it was going to rain - opened up if dry - little flashback i had there |

Yep.
It's called 'stickyourheadoutofthewindow'.
It's a 'live' app only of course and only works in the immediate vicinity of the phone - but it's pretty much 100% accurate every time!

I use an aggregate of the reports for the met office, the Beeb (who reinterpret the met office data) and Netweather, which is run mainly by enthusiastic amateurs using multiple sources and is surprisingly accurate up to 14 days in advance |
