A bit early for deep and meaningful

Love is more about action, we feel deep affection for someone but as we are human and fallible and the only constant is change, how we act toward someone we supposedly love is the key.
For instance: Someone we love does something that annoys us, a lover will listen and hopefully compromise.
Love is a complex of mixed emotions though ultimately love is blind which is why it hurts so much yet can be the most euphoric experience all in ten seconds

It comes from deep within.
Love is tough and truthful,
Refuses to fade and won't give in.
Love is unconditional, open to all
a whole hearted commitment,
To be there when others fall
Love can sometimes be romantic
Aimed at a special few
Love can be extremely erotic
and deeply passionate too
Love is the energy
that makes our life worthwhile,
Love of self keeps us going
through each and every trial
Love is a precious gift, freely given to everyone.
It's what binds people together,
and reminding us that we are one.
Too often I find that I forget,
That it's there for me too.
And today and everday from now
I pray it's there for you.

just found this lesson out... I've just recently split from someone who knew exactly the right words to say and told me everyday he loved me...Saying the words was not enough; on more then one occasion i was shown just how little he really thought of me by his actions.. I honestly believe he did love me in his own way but not in love... There's a big difference between loving someone and being in love with someone  |

sorry to hear that but after going through something similar i dont know what love is any more not when someone can destroy you by a single action or a few words so i not believe in love now  |

just found this lesson out... There's a big difference between loving someone and being in love with someone sorry to hear that but after going through something similar i dont know what love is any more not when someone can destroy you by a single action or a few words so i not believe in love now "
that's their problem not yours.. I didn't know i could love someone so much until my last relationship.. Just because he didn't feel the same does not mean that love doesn't exist... It may have been one sided on both our accounts but it doesn't mean you should give up believing... If you can love the wrong person so much, just imagine how much you could love the right person when they come around  |

Yup. What didn't kill me did in some ways make me stronger, and hopefully wiser. More cautious maybe, but hopefully no less courageous. I guess being a yeehaw helps, I am a risk taker by nature.
One thing I have realised is that loving is as important as being loved. Love really is the most precious commodity on earth in my opinion, it must never be wasted.

There are so many kinds of love.
The deep, unconditional acceptance of the whole person knowing it is safe to challenge them and for them to challenge you. Their actions and behaviours. Their honesty not being wrapped up in malice. Seeing their beauty and them seeing yours. Being silent together and feeling you have had more communication than if you had been speaking all night. Speaking all night and not being bored with any of the conversation. It's when you can tell them to shut up because they are talking nonsense. Looking at them and feeling your body and soul drawn to them. Seeing something and knowing they would want to see it too. Making love not just sex. Enjoying the feel of their body and wanting it again.
That's the sexual, romantic in-love for me.
A lot of that without the body bits and a few other things is the love I feel for the kids, the family I love and my friends.

After a couple of long term relationships ended where I truly was in love, the feeling of absolute emptiness and despair took me a heck of a long time to recover from. So is it really better to have loved and lost, than to never to have loved at all? |

Yes I feel more alive when I'm in love than any other time. The pain of a love lost lets me know I'm alive too. However I recover quickly emotionally but feel deeply. I don't think I've ever felt absolute emptiness and despair though, or if I have it has been fleeting while I balled my eyes out and bashed a few pillows to a pulp |
