What does success look like to you?

"It looks like someone who is content.Smiley people?"
Possibly. Do you mean financial success? I think of success as achieving a lifestyle that makes you content and that often isn't something you can see immediately I suppose. |

It will NEVER be owning 10 Ferrari's or having a fucking Penthouse next to Buckingham Palace...
Success to me is defined as NOT being a sad, shitty excuse for a person. |

I'll disagree completely but I know it's not shared. Fancy car nice house amazing teeth. That's success to me and it's something I strive to. I may be never happy but that's my success bar. |

Success, for me, is seeing a lot of good things happening around you and knowing that you were an integral part of making that all happen
If you see a lot of good things happening around you and yet you feel they would've just as easily happened without you being there... that's not success.
I've been there and done the second scenario... pushed the eject button... and now I'm trying to see if I can get to the first scenario.
Success is something you have to own... a pride that comes from within. |

I could never equate success with materialism or popularity.
Success is the contentment of liking who you are, the knowledge that you generally touch people's lives in a positive way and the belief that as you breathe your last you can reflect that ot was a fun and challenging but most importantly rewarding abd entertaining journey. |

To feel I've fulfilled my purpose.
To live my final years to the full,
to love others and especially those close to me, with all my heart.
To laugh frequently and help others to laugh too,
To learn continually and help others to learn too
To leave a legacy, even if that is simply that my son, and any other children I may have, have the conditions created and the love needed, to enable them to have the best chance of fulfilling their purpose too. |

Success for me is seeing my children have grown into people I am proud of. Who fit comfortably into society and have the confidence to speak up when they should and the wisdom to realise when to keep their thoughts to themselves. |

I quit my job 4 months ago'ish, it's the most liberating thing I've ever fucking done but simultaneously scary too.
Thing is when most people give up their jobs, they BLINDLY go and follow their dreams simply because someone said to them go on "Follow your dreams".
Whilst that is totally cool and everybody absolutely SHOULD in fact follow their dreams, it does however PAY to step back and consider whether or not your dreams are fucking stupid or not.
Most people fall off the proverbial bandwagon not because they had dreams, but because the dream/success model they started with was fucking stupid/unrealistic in the first place.
