Hinduism, Jainism and Zoroastrianism regard cows as sacred, so for anyone following those religions it would be a valid question.

And not to mention that you can have sheep, goat, kangaroo and no doubt a host of other animal leather, not just cows.

Ah you have to love selling on eBay.
I've had some  questions when I've been selling things too.
The ones asked when I was selling my car were the best.
I've got a lot of stuff here I've been putting off listing on eBay. I am not looking forward to it. |

"I've given up with ebay the fees are getting silly and no protection for the seller so I'm I, using selling pages on fb instead but you still get the silly questions!!"
I might try Gumtree first, for those reasons. I expect I'll still get stupid questions. |
