My neighbours seem to be neglected their little kittens so much they have taken to staying in my garden.
They were bedraggled and very skinny so what do i go and do..........
feed them. 
Now they greet me every morning from the little box i put out for them.... 
Im not a great cat lover but i cant stand to see them neglected either.
They have acually put weight on now and are looking better .....
sighhhhhhhh what to do now though ???  |

AW bless them I have got three adult cats a five month kitten and three kittens about seven weeks old love them to bits just do what is best for the animals |

This. Even if you like having them greet you every morning, your neighbours shouldn't have animals they cant/wont provide for (unless, of course, you're happy to keep buying then food and take them in - which will probably happen eventually if you carry on feeding them). x |

I did this once with a neighbours kitten. fed and gave it water as they were away. anyway he gave me grief for doing so as the kitten could get in a window but no one was feeding it. I wish I has reported them so I think you should report them to the proper authorities. It's neglect |

aww thats a really nice thing to do are they now stray cats ? or do they still go in there home next door ?

These neighbours already have 4 dogs of various sizes and about 6 kids running riot..oh and she keeps horses , thankfully not in the tiny garden but i wouldnt have put it past them. I dont want a pet at this time and if i did i would have a jack russel. I just dont like to see neglected animals,hungry ones. No excuse for it. Ive rang someone and they are comming to see me tomorrow. I just want to see them looked after properly... |

aww thats a really nice thing to do are they now stray cats ? or do they still go in there home next door ?

If they do go into next doors ? it can only be for a short period as they end up sleeping in the box ive put out. that will be useless if it rains though |

 i think you did the right thing lets hope they take them away and re home them i am a lover of all animals sickens me how some people treat them good for you for not turning your back on them  |

If they are being neglected have a word or just call the RSPCA and let them deal with it. |

Cats choose their owners but with them being 'owned' by your neighbours already I'd follow some of the good advice given and contact the RSPCA who can advise you further. Sounds like they're happier with you though... |

Ring the Rspca National Cruelty line (its 24hr answer phone) 0300 1234 999
Explain the kits are in immediate danger from the dogs and how young they are.
They should arrange for a local volunteer to come pick them up.
I'm a volunteer for my local branch and do these kind of pick ups regularly.

Thats true but if they are in decent health its better to go to specialist cat people. |

If the neighbours had wanted rid they would have done so all the cats protection will do is tell you to call the RSPCA as they only home or taking in animals voluntary brought to them. |

Rspca won't do anything if they have food water and shelter which they do, they're not bothered who's providing it, sounds harsh but if you want something done remove any signs you've been feeding them, cats protection is a better bet, I've dealt with both before and cats protection is far better organised xx |

Cats arn't daft, they tend to prefer quieter environments, and tend to move home it they don't like the one they are in. Sounds like these two have done just that and decided that your home is a lot more to their tastes.
I'm not a great fan of the RSPCA, I feel that they are too much like publicity hounds, but they do have the authority to rehome animals.
I hope the wee ones find a home they like where they are looked after properly. |
