Bra Sizing

Right I've had enough, I've been to two fittings recently and been told several different things. First of all I was told I was a 38C, this I tried but the cup was too big so I went for a 38B which fits perfectly but I am unable to find in anywhere else but M&S and they don't exactly do sexy "come ravage me" styles, especialy for a 20year old (anywhere else I've found seems to be way our of my price range). I then went to another high street department store where I have always had amazing service and was told I was either a 36C, 36D or 36DD. When I asked which one she said she wasn't sure and told me to go find out (I thought thats what I WAS doing).

So I try on these sizes and the bloomin' things don't even do up. So I decided to try online and find out how to measure myself. Each time the sizing charts have given me sizes ranging from 40DD to a 42FF, now I know I'm not small but I'm NOT a 40 let alone a 42.

Can anyone give me any advice about where I should go, what I should do?

Any stories about your problems would be good too.

I've had the same. To be honest, I think it depends so much the bra that I use it more as a guide as to which to pick up first then if it's not the right fit at least it's a starting point :D

Scotland - Aberdeen

It's la senza for me, but it also depends on the type of bra, if it's more structured, like a balcony bra (I need all the help I can get lol) I'm a 34a, if it's got more give I've been told to try a 32c..... haven't tried that yet but I'm definately not a c cup

i got measured at BHS i think it was, put me at a 36 c/d cup, much more comfortable than what i had been wearing. Trouble is that shops dont all get the sizing right so in some im as i was measured in others, i can get away with a 36 D, much more comfortable than c/d cup.

My advice is dont get anyone measure you except in a proper underwear shop not supermarket etc.

My daughter was measured as 32 g but can get into 34 h cup, buys stuff from bravissimo but did manage Katy Price from Asda once
