During holiday I reacquainted myself and developed a taste for cocktails. The menu wasn't massive but they were free. Mojitos, Pina Coladas, Cairpirinhias, Sangria, Vodka Suns and Tequila Sunrises.
On monday night I tried a Jelly Belly Beanie, a Blue Lagoon and an Acapulco. Tonigjt I'm on a a Kitchen Platter Long Island Ice Tea....
Vodka, Gin, Bacardi, Tequila, Lemon Juice and Coke - it's bloody rocket fuel.
my favourite so far was Jelly Belly Beanie
Bacardi, Peach Schnapps, Malibu, Orange Bitters and Mineral Water with Jelly Beans in a Marguerita glass.

I am a huge fan of cocktails. Had a berry blast last night which was Chambord, raspberries, Prosecco, and some other rocket fuel. Made me quite merry. And me and BlondeCaz availed ourselves of the 2 for £10 cocktail wagon at the festival last weekend. Very nice. Surfers Paradise was coconut and something, and I got quite squiffy. |

2 tablespoons caster sugar, for rimming 
2 large limes, quartered
1/2 bunch mint leaves
7 strawberries, quartered
200g caster sugar
250ml white rum
500ml sparkling water
8 cupfuls ice cubes

I had three and half cocktails on Tuesday.
I started with a dirty martini, moved onto a margarita and then I had a galia melon one that the barman made up because another woman saw the melon and asked for it.
Then I had half a watermelon and lingonberry cocktail. I knocked over the other half as I went to chat up a group of men.
My favourites are the classic cosmopolitan and a French martini.

Last cocktail I had was on a night out with a friend. A local bar last year. Cant remember what was in it but it was called The Duchess |

What did you think of it? I wasn't impressed to be honest,we booked it last minute in May. The sea was freezing and the sand was boiling. I don't go for the nightlife so it was just a rest for me. I do like swimming in the sea so I was disappointed |

I was in Puerto Del Carmen last summer
What did you think of it? I wasn't impressed to be honest,we booked it last minute in May. The sea was freezing and the sand was boiling. I don't go for the nightlife so it was just a rest for me. I do like swimming in the sea so I was disappointed "
It was alright. The hotel was really good so I was not overly bothered about PDC. I wouldn't go back though. I much prefer Fuerteventura and Gran Canaria. I love golden sands and being able to get naked so Lanzarote isn't for me. Too restricted really. |

Well it's cocktail night again at YeOldeWitchDoc's and tonight's first is a Choclarita A classic twist on a Margarita with Tequila, Chocolate liqueur, Coffee liqueur, Sugar syrup and Lime juice. Very refreshing and zingy |

Whisky and champagne with a lump of brown sugar in the bottom. Not sure what its called but bought from the whisky bar in Durham. Its amazing And so simple. |

"During holiday I reacquainted myself and developed a taste for cocktails. The menu wasn't massive but they were free. Mojitos, Pina Coladas, Cairpirinhias, Sangria, Vodka Suns and Tequila Sunrises.
On monday night I tried a Jelly Belly Beanie, a Blue Lagoon and an Acapulco. Tonigjt I'm on a a Kitchen Platter Long Island Ice Tea....
Vodka, Gin, Bacardi, Tequila, Lemon Juice and Coke - it's bloody rocket fuel.
my favourite so far was Jelly Belly Beanie
Bacardi, Peach Schnapps, Malibu, Orange Bitters and Mineral Water with Jelly Beans in a Marguerita glass.
What's your favourite and what do you put in it? "
