Dont rush it, use lots of lube - as above - and the more foreplay the likely the easier it will be, as youll be hornier and more relaxed. Id not plan to have a few hours hard and serious fuck fest the first time. Ease yourself into it, breaking off before you feel you have had too much (which may not happen, but it is better to have less not more than that). If you find a partner who is experienced in anal Id think thats better than another first timer. There are loads of positions, some giving the recipient more control than others.
