The guy I had was sadistic, he found and manipulated knots in my ITB and quads before proceeding to pull my calves into all sorts of weird shapes. I like to think I can take pain but shit! Nearly screamed the place down like a bitch.

"Hope you have a high pain threshold. Sports massage/therapy hurts like fuck You really know how to sell this, so no whale noises and relaxing music then?? Lol "
After the muscle soreness has gone, you'll feel a new person. It's just the getting there |

"I use a foam roller on myself.i have one that looks like a pineapple and although it hurts it doesn't really get in there if you know what I mean! "
Yeah, know exactly what you mean. You need thumbs and knuckles digging in to find the trouble spots |

No its like acupuncture without the needles. Relives many ailments, tired muscles to period pain.... The list goes on. Anyone that is at the Sutton venue tomorrow night is welcome to a trial. I've been doing it on and off for 14yrs x |

Google for shiatsu in your area. Then shop around. Some people can be over expensive. Also see if a local collage has a course for sports therapy. They can do a deal where the instructor watches over the final year student as they go to work on you. Lastly Groupon or wowcha sometimes have a good saving on such things but make sure the deal doesn't look too good..... If you get me.x |

I have a foam roller but really struggle to use it. My calves are sore all the time!!! "
Are you using it right? It is meant to hurt as you roll but shouldn't hurt all the time. |

Its not my weekend in Newcastle, otherwise Id assist. Its worth a call to a few gyms to see if they have staff who do this - some have part timers for appointments, and not usually needing membership. |

This
Our gym has a guy who used to come in and people could just pay him for time. Now I call him direct and he comes to the house if I need his healing hands. |

I find it hard to lift my considerable frame up to us it properly lol
As for my calves, they just hurt even if I've not been exercising! I am going to try and see the physio at work next week I think and see what he says. |
