Years ago a local tranny used to get on the bus in the mornings wearing a dodgy shell suit, trainers and full make-up.
All the kids on the bus going to school knew him as Gloria and used to get all defensive if anyone questioned them calling 'him' Gloria. |

Yep self confessed, used to dress up more at weekends, wore his wig and everything then. Short grey/black hair the rest of the time ....... always looked a bit strange with eye make-up lippy and nail polish on with his shell suit and no wig. Kids all liked him and accepted him as he was. Adults on the other hand ......  |

I was always accepting of Gloria same as the kids. He made no secret that he was a man, he just liked to dress up. I was attempting to say they got defensive if strangers called Gloria HIM. |

One of my TV friends at all the Scottish socials was like that, and had better legs than most of us! Used to have great giggles going to the loo's together. |
