Yes and it's amazing . A lot of us take talking for granted. It was really moving.

I think I remember a programme like this years ago that had Gareth Gates in it as he stammered

The results were amazing

Couldn't watch it as it would bring back too many memories - I suffered for many years from 6 - 10 ish and had to attend speech therapy once a week.

Being dragged out of lessons to attend therapy isn't easy as a kid.

Generally people think it is because you are scared or nervous which it is not - I still struggle with some words every now and again - which was a running joke with all my pals - which yuo learn to live with

It was a great show and I shared some tears with the people on it - they all seemed so lovely and I found it very moving. Such a big thing for them, such as the girl who cancelled her birthday party and who just wanted so much to be able to chat. Great tv.

There are very few shows that bring me and the OH to tears, but this did it. My dad had a stammer and the frustration it caused for him was painful.

I actually felt really proud for the young Asian guy. Standing up in a crowd and speaking is nerve racking normally, let alone when he had such a bad speech impediment. It was very touching when you saw his mentor and father crying

Its nice to see how people can overcome issues ok never a quick fix but the effort put in was commendable.

There were a few of our tears flowing from that show - great that we've shared that. I was amazed how each one of the people was so awesome and special in their own way. And their friends, and the teacher, as others have said. Tv gold really.
