I have a condition that means I need one annually. The 48 hour starvation and the laxatives are unpleasant.
You are given a sedative which helps. They pump you with air as the camera goes in, which can be uncomfortable and you will be passing wind like crazy during and after, which is a little embarrassing.
All in all, its no biggy. Just relax and dont worry |

my daughter has crohns disease, is in hossie at the minute with a few complications, shes had these and the first time she as more embarassed than anything as she was quite young - now its a put her mind to rest thing and doesnt mind |
