To be fair I've never NOT enjoyed a film with Ellen Page in it, she has an old soul, one of my top ten actress's
It's a brave actor that will portray a pedophile, for instance Kevin Bacon in the woodsman, that was a challenging movie to watch let alone make. |

"A VERY long time ago. It was a bit slow-going but I loved the concept."
I think the slow going was intentional, to get across the cat and mouse game and then how she was dragging out the torment.
It would have seemed like a lifetime to him. |

"I saw it shortly after it was released, after reading a review.
I also saw Brick as a result of the same review page. That was a bit strange."
Both are great films, Brick I really liked. A dectective film noir set in a school, good acting too. |

"Just read the synopsis.
Sounds fucked up."
I just read the synopsis. It does sound fucked up but no more fucked up than the very many films where women are held captive , tortured, raped and murdered.
I think we accept those roles more readily. |
