El Presidente Cellino has said that "He can change his coach as often as his underpants until he gets it right!" So Hockaday is a dead man walking. In fact so are all his successors really! 
But changing a head coach isn't as much a big deal as sacking a Manager.  |

He does change his coach a lot, something like 40 or 50 odd different coaches he fired while chairman of Cagliari in Italy?  |

Hiring and firing managers frequently has very little chance of attaining any long term success. Stability is needed for a team to at least tread water let alone make any progress.
Having a sound financial platform is important too, many owners, particularly foreign ones, have thought that they can buy their way out of trouble when this is rarely the best way forward. |
