Town of extremely attractive’ women need men

I think I'm too old now  but for all you young uns.......
A Brazilian town that is entirely made up of young, ‘extremely attractive’ women has made an appeal – for single men.
Noiva do Cordeiro, in southeast Brazil, has a 600-strong population that is entirely female, with sons sent away at 18 and the few husbands only allowed in town on weekends.
And while that might sound perfect to some, the young women in the town are growing increasingly frustrated at the absence of men – and have made an appeal for eligible bachelors to step forward.

Just read the article.
If they're all 'extremely attractive' then why does the one on the right look vaguely like a guy in drag? 
Maybe it's a town home to some of the men from Fab - luring in hopeful young studs with fake single fem claims?

This bits also slightly worrying!

‘And there’s always time to stop and gossip, try on each other’s clothes and do each other’s hair and nails.’"
So visiting men are in for a manicure, a perm, an ear bashing - and will be expected to cross dress!
