I do like to learn something new and todays word is Hippotherapy ..
I wouldn't have thought it meant horseback riding as a physical therapy ...
Do you still like to learn new things and do you use google lots ? |

A word that stuck in my head was Avulsion. Sounds pretty.
Unfortunately I learnt it on a first aid course.
It means a forcible separation or detachment: as a : a tearing away of a body part accidentally or surgically b : a sudden cutting off of land by flood, currents, or change in course of a body of water

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound |
I love new words. Finding a new word is such a joy.
I've used it a lot on here but my newest word in use came to me earlier this year and it's so great that I want to use it all the time:
Pinguescent: to grow fat.
You can use it for your belly or your purse.
Another one I used on here recently is agelast: someone who never laughs.
Perfect Fab words:
gowpen - a double handful
oculoplania - wandering eyes while assessing another person's charms.
Of course I have never been guilty of oculoplania as I always maintain eye contact. |
