I have a friend who is a drag king... She is Androgenous and sometimes dresses in a very full on drag king style.
I know someone else born female that feels more like a male sometimes and takes make hormones to give her a beard etc.
It's definitely not as common though as I know many many more men who love cross dressing in all it's fun ( and sometimes serious) forms. |

My niece is a lesbian but is very masculine looking. She wears men's clothes, straps her breasts down and has these individual hairs that she sticks on her face to make a designer stubble kind of look, like a stick on beard thing but it looks very effective and real.
She's only in her early 20s but has been in a relationship with the same girl since she's 18. I don't know if she's transgendered or simply likes a masculine look

See another reason possibly why its rarer is that its acceptable that women can wear shorts/trousers, t shirt and shirts.. they are unisex..
skirts/dresses/stockings/bras are clearly femanine items.
