Do men really have stronger sex drives than woman?

Birds do it, bees do it, and men do it any old time. But women will only do it if the candles are scented just right -- and their partner has done the dishes first. A stereotype, sure, but is it true? Do men really have stronger sex drives than women? |

I think most men have a higher sex drive than women, not so much on fab swingers though. I think a lot of the time women want sex for other reasons though. |

Its all about testosterone levels. Made in the pancreas and the balls ... So men should have a higher drive as they have more of the hormone being made.
However, women with a very active pancreas, perhaps with other hormone imbalances being compensated, have a huge passion for it ... Men with balls who create little will have lower drive ... Then the brain, ... Biggest sex organ out there ...
As a population males should be driven to fuck everything, .. Hormonal, can't be helped. Hence this place is 500:1 male:female .... But i think the ladies are genuine and up for it, ... |

I'd say definitely not......I know a few girls that would ruin me if I allowed them! Ha
Think it's all down to so many things, age, if you work alot and are run down, and some people are just naturally horny x |

No, but does depend on the individual. Some women are late bloomers and peak in their late 30's and 40's. Several years ago, I wanted it 3 times a day and was constantly wet. Have calm down now, but only a little bit.  |

I have always had a high sex drive but am starting to lose interest a bit in meeting men for sex on here, I do get turned on easily looking at some of the pictures on here though. I think if I was able to just meet someone I liked the look of when I wanted to on the spur of the moment then I would be more interested. |

Watch any wildlife documentaries and you'll see that in pretty much any animal circle, males spread the genes, females make the babies. This is obviously a massive commitment for a woman, thusly it makes perfect sense why they'd want to be more selective in their choice of partners than men would, and why I believe womens sexual needs are generally more specific and intense than a mans. Of course, that's not to say men themselves cannot also be sexually intense, especially when they find the right partner. |

Being very general I don't always think it's that women have a lower sex drive as in how much sex they want, however I do think more women look for that sex from one partner than men do. |

I have spent most of my life battling with my libido. It's an all or nothing drive. The more I have the more I want. I have very good self-control.
If what you are saying, OP, is that men can have sex with just about anyone and women need more (the candles reference etc.) then there are many reasons for that and they have largely been covered.
Even on here there are times when a sexually busy woman on here will be slated in ways that sexually busy men won't be.

I lost my libido completely around 45, since I've been single it has returned gradually.
Then this summer it made a dramatic return, hornier than when I was young and attractive. More so with the right person.
I'm just going to enjoy whilst being safe and a little more selective. Have been dismayed that there is still the gender stereotypes on here, slut versus stud, unless it's because I'm single.
But I will carry on funking, for now anyway |
